3192985 - Asset class 5000 blocked AA217 - S/4HANA CLOUD

Upon trying to create Asset in App Manage Fixed Assets error 'Asset class 00005000 blocked (Enter another class)' raised.

1. Open App Manage Fixed Assets
2. Click 'Create' button
3. Maintain company code and asset class 5000
4. Error 

Low Value Asset Class is not relevant for Belgium/Luxembourg and France as there's no legal Asset Class Low Value Asset. This is the reason why we do not deliver G/L accounts “Low Value Assets” and “Accumulated Depreciation - Low Value Assets” as this concept does not exist in the Local Chart of Accounts for Belgium/Luxembourg and France.

In these country/regions, all assets should be capitalized with the relevant asset class (machinery, office equipment, furniture, and fixtures, etc.). In case of need to depreciate immediately an asset, it would be possible modify the depreciation key and the useful life of the asset.

To deviate from the standard content, it is possible to create a custom Low Value Asset Class with SCCUI 102606 "Define Asset Class" (using “Copy As” button and using asset class LVA as model) and use it for BE/LU/FR company codes.
