3193040 - CREATE ALIAS or CREATE SYNONYM statements are generated twice - SAP PD

Symptom

  • An alias or a synonym is defined for a table in IBM DB2.
  • The database is being modified and the base object of the alias/synonym needs to be recreated.
  • SAP PD generates the following statement twice:
       CREATE ALIAS alias-name FOR base-object;
    or
       CREATE SYNONYM synonym-name FOR base-object;
