Symptom

  • Test connection failed for MSSQL remote source through MssqlLogReaderAdapter with Windows Authentication.
  • Error: "DPFramework | WorkerThread.processRequest  - com.sap.hana.dp.adapter.sdk.AdapterException: Adapter validation failed. [Remotesource_name]Failed to establish JDBC connection. Error: Login failed for user***".
  • Change remote source to use SQL Server user, test connection successfully.
  • DP Agent installed on Linux server.
