3193263 - Position on change propagation removes fields

Symptom

  • While changing position field, expected organization fields are not getting propagated.
  • Instead, the field values are just removed

SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Select an Employee
  2. Go to Take Action > Change Job & Compensation Info
  3. Select a new position
    Results: Organization fields are getting removed but not selected.

Cause

Incorrect association configuration between affected job information fields.

Resolution

  1. Go to Check Tool
  2. Select Application Employee Central Core and Association Area
  3. Select the checkboxes and run all three checks
  4. Fix any related errors regarding field criteria in Manage Business Configuration page
