3193379 - After working for a long time on Canvas reports the browser session appears expired

Symptom

If you're creating/editing a Canvas report for more than 30 mins, the application should automatically refresh and keep the session alive. However, sometimes application shows "Session timed out" message intermittently, even in less than 30 mins. 

Environment

  • SAP SuccessFactors HXM Suite
  • Canvas reports

Resolution

Considering the deprecation announcement for the Legacy Reporting tools (Including Canvas reporting) there will be no change on this behavior. 

There is no real impact on the usability of the system. The session is not actually expired.
