3193434 - How to identify to which field a picklist is associated - Employee Central

This article explains how you can identify if a specific picklist is used in HRIS Element.

It is possible to check if a picklist is configured in a field by looking for its name in the Succession Data Model (for standard fields in Manage Business Configuration) and in the Country/Region Specific Succession Data Model (for country/region-specific fields).

1. Go to "Export Succession Data Model" or "Export Country/Region-Specific Data Model";
2. Export the data model;
3. Open it and search for the picklist ID.

In case you don't find the picklist it, it means the picklist is not being used.

If you do not find the feature to export the Data Model from the instance, make sure the permissions are granted: enable in the target permission role -> Admin Center Permissions -> Export Succession Data Model or Export Country- Specific Succession Data Model.
