3193441 - Typeahead Support for Single-Level Picklist Fields feature enhancement - First Half 2023 Release (1H 2023)- Recruiting Management

Standard and Custom Picklist fields on the Candidate Profile and the Job Application pages now support the typeahead functionality.

As part of the First Half 2023 Release (1H 2023) 
The standard and custom picklist fields on the Job Application portlets now support the Typeahead feature, where selecting the textbox displays the available picklist values.

The typeahead feature simplifies the process of searching for a picklist value. This feature is currently supported only for for fields whose type is defined as picklist in the Candidate Profile and Job Application templates.

NOTES:

Typeahead is now applicable for the candidate and operator experience on the Candidate Profile and Job Application pages.

Typeahead is now supported for the following Job Application portlets: 

• Application portlets (Note: The Application Status field appearing in the Application portlets does not support Typeahead feature.)

• Background field portlets like Formal education, Previous employment, and Work experience

• More Information portlets

Additionally

• This feature is supported for both Mobile Apply and non-Mobile Apply pages.
• Typeahead is supported only for fields whose type is defined as picklist in the Job Application template and has a picklist id in the picklist center.
• Typeahead isn't supported on the following pages:
  
  • Create Account
  • Job Search
• If the user types a value that does not exist in the Picklist, the user will be prompted with the message: "There were no results".
• When using Quick Apply, the Country field will not support Typeahead. As the Quick Apply page is a combination of Job Application and Create Account pages, and as the Country field comes from the Create Account page, the Country field won't support Typeahead because Create Account page does not support the functionality.
