3193742 - Workflow error message in Message Monitoring for Administrators

Symptom

You noticed the in the Message Monitoring for Administrator app the following errors message are displayed:

  1. Import container contains errors (are any mandatory elements missing?)
  2. Recipient (/SWFEQ REC_QUEUE_ITEM) cannot be determined

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud 2022.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Access Message Monitoring for Administrators app
  2. Check the error messages

Cause

These application errors on the logs are related to Old workflow(release strategy). This has nothing to do with flexible workflow.

Resolution

It will not cause any issue/break in your business process.

Please ignore the messages, it will be removed in future releases.
