3194055 - Employee Replication from ECC to C4C Failing for Deferred Hiring Scenario

You are facing an error message "Assigned Employee Hiring Date Change is not valid from XX.XX.XXXX to XX.XX.XXXX” for service the interface EmployeeReplicationIn.

Use case example: Employee hired on 1st March and employee record replicated to C4C system. Now employee hire date changed to 03.03.2022, so in ECC old data will be wiped out and ECC system will send totally new payload with new hire date. Employee comes as a New hire only not rehire even after date change

1. Go to Web Service Message Monitoring
2. Search by the error message for EmployeeReplicationIn interface

Detailed Error Text: "Assigned Employee Hiring Date Change is not valid from XX.XX.XXXX to XX.XX.XXXX”

Code enhancement and limitation

Changes were made to accommodate and handle the deferred hiring/starting date scenario. It is going to get deployed effectively on Apr 25th, 2022.

Applicable to Employee Assignment types 219 (primary employee assignment) and 222 (secondary employee assignment).

Please note about the limitation: This feature will not support the Employee Assignment type 218 (Manager Assignment).
