3195023 - Expiration Date Of Identified Stock Displays Different While Previewing Delivery Note

Symptom

While previewing the outbound delivery note, you find that system displays different expiration date for respective Identified Stock maintained in respective master data.

Environment

SAP Business ByDesign

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to the Outbound Logistics work center
  2. Go to the Outbound Deliveries view
  3. Search for the respective outbound delivery ID.
  4. Select and choose Preview
  5. Here you find the expiration date of the Identified Stock is different than that maintained in the respective master data.

Cause

The expiry date gets converted into the local DateTime of the ship-to location.

For example: In the case of Australia. The values passed into conversion displays in the format : (YYYYMMDDHHMM) for Expiry Date, Local TZ: AUSSA

For example: If the output is the local date-time 20250101000600 (i.e. 1st Jan 2025) it would be the next day.

(here 20250101000600 -> this is the local time for the country: Australia)

Resolution

This is an expected system behavior.
