3195224 - Warning on the candidate's job application: "This applicant can be hired only through Onboarding." - Recruiting Management

Symptom

When accessing the candidate's job application, at the top of the candidates job application (right under their name), a warning message displays: "This applicant can be hired only through Onboarding. The country/region-based rule on the Onboarding Integration Setup page is configured for "All" countries/regions.".

  • Is it possible to remove it?
  • Is it possible to modify it?

Resolution

In the b2205 release, there were some improvements made in the error messages related to Manage Pending Hires. More information about it can be found here: 3191742 - Manage Pending Hire Prevention and Enhancement - First Half 2022 Release (1H 2022) - Recruiting Management.

This message is part of this enhancement. It's not possible to remove it, but it is possible to modify it through Manage Languages.

The key to this message is Legacy Candidate Workbench is RCM_APPLICATION_ONB_FOR_ALL_COUNTRY. For the Redesigned Candidate Workbench, the key for this is RCM_API_ONBOARDING_APPLICANT_DESC.
