3195296 - Error MSR_INSP_MESSAGES302 when reversing goods movement

Symptom

Error message "Cancelation of GM not possible; follow-up documents are active" occurs when reversing goods movement at APP "Reverse GI - Outbound Delivery, Reverse Goods Receipt - Inbound Delivery"(VL09). 

Message no. MSR_INSP_MESSAGES302.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to APP "Reverse GI - Outbound Delivery, Reverse Goods Receipt - Inbound Delivery"(VL09).
  2. Enter the inbound delivery referring return stock transfer order.
  3. Click Execute and select the entry for inbound delivery, reverse good movement.
  4. Error message occurs.

Cause

There is a follow-up document opened for inbound/outbound delivery.

Resolution

Check the relevant inspection document with APP Enter Inspection Results - From Warehouse (MSR_INSPWH).

If the follow up activity has not been done, you can switch to "Item" tab and reject the inspection document. Or the follow up activity has been done, it is not possible to do the rejection anymore.
