3195880 - Edit Layout Button Disabled for Site or Location

While attempting to create a layout for a Site or Location, the “Edit Layout” button is greyed out and cannot be selected.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to Supply Chain Design Master Data work center.
2. Go to Locations view.
3. Find and select the relevant Site/Location ID.
4. The Edit Layout button is greyed out.

The Logistics Relevance and Storage Location check box is unchecked in Site or Location master data.

1. Go to Supply Chain Design Master Data work center.
2. Go to Locations view.
3. Find and select the relevant Site/Location ID.
4. Choose Edit.
5. Select Logistics Relevance checkbox.
6. Upon selecting Logistics Relevance checkbox, Storage location checkbox also gets enabled.
7. Select Storage Location checkbox.
8. Choose Save and Close.
9. The Edit layout button is now enabled.

Note: The Logistics Relevance checkbox is available only at the Site level. In the Location master data, enabling the Storage Location checkbox enables the Edit Layout button for the Location.
