3196044 - Cannot import a PostgreSQL 12 table into the datastore - Data Services

Symptom

  • Not able to import any table from Postgres SQL to SAP BODS
  • Cannot import a table 
  • Error:  Cannot import the metadata table <name=tablename>.  Table <tablename> cannot be imported for the datastore <datastorename>.  Possible causes: (1) Table does not exist in the database; (2) Information for import was specified incorrectly.  check the imporat information and try again.  If the name is case-sensitive in the database (and not all uppercase>, enter the name as it appers in the database and use the double-quotation marks around the name to preserve the case.
