3196398 - IQ connections with open cursor cannot be dropped - SAP IQ

Symptom

  • IQ connections with open cursor cannot be dropped. 
  • These connections come from an SAP Adaptive Server Enterprise (ASE) server.
  • Client processes in ASE cannot be killed with the regular KILL command.
  • The to kill client processes with the WITH FORCE option in SAP ASE was not tried.
