With SAP Datasphere you can Integrating Data via Database Users/Open SQL Schemas.
When connecting an analytics client or other tool to SAP Datasphere, you might get:
Error in .jcall(drv@jdrv, "Ljava/sql/Connection;", "connect", as.character(url)[1], : com.sap.db.jdbc.exceptions.JDBCDriverException: SAP DBTech JDBC: Cannot connect to jdbc: HOST AND PORT NUMBER [Object is closed: com.sap.db.jdbc.SecureChannelSession@SYSTEM ID AND PORT NUMBER.

Reproducing the Issue
Connecting an analytics client or other tool to SAP Data Warehouse Cloud using Open SQL Schema info:
- Database User Name
- Host Name
- Port
Cause
IP not included into allowlist
Resolution
Include the IP address from your client machine into IP Allowlist.
The IP you enter needs to be your public internet IP.
