3196682 - Unit Not Shown for Time Account Balance

You have noticed that some time accounts are missing their time units, which can be "day(s)" or "hour(s)", next to where their balances are shown.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to the Home work center
2. Access the Self-Services Overview
3. Click the View Time Accounts Overview link
4. Here, some accounts are missing the units next to their balance

 Alternatively:

1. Go to the Time Administration work center
2. Access the Employees work center view
3. Search for any employee that has one of the affected time accounts assigned
4. Select it and click Edit
5. Navigate to the Time Account Balances tab
6. The unit of the time account balance is missing here as well

The unit might be blocked in the relevant fine-tuning activity of the Business Configuration work center.

1. Go to the Business Configuration work center
2. Access the Overview work center view
3. Locate and open the Quantities and Units of Measure fine-tuning activity
4. Click the link to Create and Maintain Physical Units
5. Under Activation Status: 3 - Blocked, filter the Unit column for the ID of the unit that is not being shown. For reference, the IDs are:
• "DAY" - Day(s)
• "HUR" - Hour(s)
6. Change Activation Status to 2 - Released
7. Click Save or Save and Close
