3197047 - Material Staging for Production fails with error VL569

During material staging for production order via app “Stage materials for Production” the following error occurs: VL569 “Mandatory partner was not transmitted”.

Due to this error, no outbound delivery for material staging in created and distributed to EWM.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud

1. Open app “Stage materials for Production” and enter selection criteria;
2. Create replenishment proposals;
3. Show replenishment elements;
4. Execute staging;
5. The error occurs.

In the configuration step Define Shipping Data for Plants, the Customer No. Plant: <business partner representing the plant> is missing.

Log on to the SAP Fiori launchpad as a Configuration Expert.

Open Manage Your Solution.

On the Manage Your Solution screen, choose Configure Your Solution.

On the Configure Your Solution screen, make the following entries:
Application Area: Organization

Expand the Organization line.

In the list of Configuration Steps, scroll down until you find Step Name Define Shipping Data for Plants.

Choose Configure in configuration step Define Shipping Data for Plants.

On the Change View "Define Shipping Data for Plants": Overview screen, select one <Plant> checkbox.

Choose Details.

Create the following settings:

Customer No. Plant: <business partner representing the plant>

Save your entries.
