3197522 - Pricing conditions are not copied with BAPI_SALESORDER_CREATEFROMDAT2 or SD_SALESDOCUMENT_CREATE

Symptom

  • BAPI_SALESORDER_CREATEFROMDAT2, SD_SALESDOCUMENT_CREATE or BAPI_CUSTOMERRETURN_CREATE is used to create a sales document.

In input table ORDER_ITEMS_IN or RETURN_ITEMS_IN fields REF_DOC, REF_DOC_IT, REF_DOC_CA are filled with reference document info.

When a sales document has been created via one of these BAPIs with these input data, pricing conditions are not copied from reference document.   

  • When the same creation process is performed using transaction VA01 and the 'Create with reference' function, pricing conditions are copied from reference document.
        
  • It is unclear how pricing conditions could be copied using BAPI.
