3197580 - New attachments are visible under previous jobs applied even though documents were only added to subsequent applications - Recruiting Management

In the External career site, additional documents are shown in the previous application even though the documents were only added to a subsequent application.

SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Management

1. On your external career site, apply to any job, e.g "Job1", and attach "Attachment A" to any field that has type ="multiattachmentselection";
2. With this same candidate account apply for a second job, e.g "Job2", and attach "Attachment B" to the same field you have attached "Attachment A" in the previous application;
3. Go to your profile and check the application for the first job “Job1” once again;
4. Notice that the second attachment "Attachment B" attached only in the second application (Job2) is also visible.

This is expected behavior. This is a type of field that can have multiple documents uploaded and attached. It acts as a library of documents uploaded by the user, for later reuse.

Note: Internally the recruiter will only see documents uploaded for the specific application.

To prevent this from happening, the Engineering team is working with the Product Management on an enhancement of the tool to candidate be able to see only "Attachment A" in Job 1 and "Attachment B" in job2.
