3197975 - How to delay trigger of I-9 Section 1 task for the new joiners only on/after their start date?

Symptom

Tried modifying the 'TRIGGER COMPLIANCE' rule scenario with IF condition -Onboarding Process.User.Employment Details.Hire Date is on or before Today()

However, for future dated joiners , it did not trigger , when the future date=TODAY

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding 2111

Resolution

Our Product Area Lead has advised that it is not possible to delay trigger of I9 section 1 task for the new joiners only on/after their start date in the current version.
