3198127 - No Input Product Show up under Tab Products Sub Tab Supply to Production in Production Order

In a production order, under tab Products sub tab Supply to Production, there is nothing; however, under tab Products sub tab Input Products, there are input products.

1. Go to work center Production Control.
2. Go to view Production Orders.
3. Search production order XYZ, click Edit.
4. Select tab Products, select sub tab Supply to Production, there is nothing.
5. Select tab Products, select sub tab Input Products, there are input products.

It is because when editing the corresponding production model and assigning line item groups to produce activity, in the pop-up window, the check box "Supply to Production" is not ticked. Hence system consider this input product doesn't need to supply, so it will not be displayed under tab Products - Supply to Production in production order (and it will not show up in the supply task if there is a supply task created after production order released).

This is system standard behavior.

If you want to supply input products in supply task, please do below:

1. In production model, select tab Bills of Operations - Product Assignment, click Unassign All Line Item Groups.
2. Select the produce activity, click Assign Line Item Group to Activity.
3. In the pop-up window, tick the check box " Supply to Production", click OK.
4. Release production model for planning and execution.

The new production orders on basis of the latest execution version will have these input products displayed under tab Products sub tab Supply to Production.
