3198490 - 'No active account found for VRN GBXXX' Error Upon Submission of UK MTD VAT Return

Error message after submission of UK VAT Return:

'No active account found for VRN GBXXX.|Technical Response: Missing required parameter: Client / Account Registration Located in: REMOTE_CONNECTOR-PROCESS_DATA'

GBXXX means the VAT Registration Number for UK Making Tax Digital (MTD).

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to the Tax Management work center.
2. Go to the VAT Returns view.
3. Find and open respective Tax Return ID.
4. Click View All.
5. Under Submission Information section, notice the Error Description:

'No active account found for VRN GBXXX.|Technical Response: Missing required parameter: Client / Account Registration Located in: REMOTE_CONNECTOR-PROCESS_DATA'

The granted access for GBXXX has expired. Ideally the granted access is valid for 18 months.

You have to reauthorize SAP Business ByDesign system for MTD submission using the activity UK Making Tax Digital in Business Configuration work center.

Post the activity has been re-performed the submission should go through.
