Symptom
Approver cannot find Shopping Cart or Purchase Order approval task in the Managing My Area work center.
Environment
SAP Business ByDesign
Reproducing the Issue
- Go to Managing My Area work center.
- Go to Approvals view.
- In the drop-down, select the Open Tasks.
The shopping cart approval task is not listed.
Cause
For shopping carts, there is an application log under the mentioned approval task: Settings: Responsibility determination for task of type /SRMAP/REQ_IR_APP
The user doesn't have sufficient access authorization to aprove the Shopping Cart or the Purchase Order.
Resolution
- Go to Application And User Management work center.
- Go to User and Access Management view.
- Go to Business Users sub view.
- Choose the approver user.
- Click in Edit button and select Access Rights.
- Please add below views to the approver:
- View: My Budget MMA_MYBUDGET
- View: My Organization MMA_MYORGANIZATION
- View: My Projects MMA_MYPROJECTS
- View: My Team MMA_MYTEAM
- View: Expenses and Purchases PRO_EXPENSESANDPURCHASES
For the appproval for Purchase Orders, also assign:
- View: Operational Purchasing MMA_OPERATIONALPURCHASING
