3198977 - SQLServerDriver has been compiled by a more recent version of the Java Runtime

Symptom

When running Scott tool to test the JDBC connection to SQL Server, the following error happens.

Exception in thread "main" java.lang.UnsupportedClassVersionError: com/microsoft/sqlserver/jdbc/SQLServerDriver has been compiled by a more recent version of the Java Runtime (class file version 52.0), this version of the Java Runtime only recognizes class file versions up to 50.0
