3199339 - Data locking cannot be active in a table if a dimension attribute is added to the row or column

When creating a table in a story or Analytic Designer Application in SAP Analytics Cloud, if you add any dimension attribute to the row or column template it is not possible to activate data locking in the table.

If you select the table properties you will see that the "Ignore Data Locks" option is greyed out and if you hover over it with your mouse the message:

"To show data locking information, the attributes of [Dimension] need to be removed from the table axes".

Issue occurs because the attribute of the dimension is added as a separate member in either the row or column dimension. This is currently not supported.

Instead of adding the attribute to the row or column as a separate value, you can click on the three dots next to the dimension and go to "Properties" and activate the check check mark next to the property you wish to display This has the same effect as adding the property in the row or column template but as a linked property to the dimension. This works without disabling the data locking.
