Reproducing the Issue

  1. Add some other sections and change the position(index) of the competency section from 3 to 6, save the form template.
  2. Launch form B and C with the modified form template.
  3. Process these form as normal, proxy as EM and go to Team Overview, click the “Stack Ranker” button, and the error popup will display.


  1. All testing forms will use the same form template.
  2. Add a Competency section and move its position(index) to for example 3.
  3. Form A launched with the original form template.


The root cause is the original index of the competency section is for example is  3, its index of the position in the form template changed from 3 to for example 6 after the form template ' was modified.

The competency sections are grouped in the stack ranker based on section index (competency-sect index ). Normally it’s based on one template with same competency sections in a stack ranker view. For this case, because template is updated and  competency section index is changed, technically they’re 2 different templates for the forms created before and after the template change although they’re same template name and route map steps.


Unfortunately, this is a system limitation. It does not support the form which has the inconsistent index of the competency section with other forms on Stack Ranker now.
