3199650 - Shadow logins and users created in the SQL Server by software update manager (SUM)

Symptom

Software Update Manager(SUM) creates the shadow system to upgrade/update your sap system for the some of the configuration modes of the SUM tool. This Shadow instance system is used to work on the shadow repository to update the basis and other customized tables to the new software level. For this a shadow login is created to store a copy of these tables for the update or new repository tables for the upgrade to new SAP release.

It is very important not to change any of the properties set for shadow login and user created by the SUM tool as the proper server roles and user mapping are required for the successful completion of SUM upgrade of the system.
