3199814 - Trying to register the DB2ECCAdpater; Failed to install and start DB2 JDBC driver bundle.

Symptom

  • Using the Agentcli tool to register the DB2ECCAdpater seeing this error:
    Failed to register adapter.
    Context: Executing SQL statement "create adapter "DB2ECCAdapter" at location agent "<AgentName>"" failed with SAP DBTech JDBC: [403]: internal error: Cannot get adapter capabilities: Failed to install and start DB2 JDBC driver bundle.  [ERROR]  SocketConnector.read  - Executing SQL statement "create adapter "DB2ECCAdapter" at location agent "<AgentName>"
    failed with SAP DBTech JDBC: [403]: internal error: Cannot get adapter capabilities: Failed to install and start DB2 JDBC driver bundle.
  • Framework.trc Shows:
     [ERROR] [] DB2LogReaderAdapterFactory | DB2LogReaderAdapterFactory.assertDB2Driver  - Failed to install and start DB2 JDBC driver bundle.
                                    org.osgi.framework.BundleException: DB2 JDBC driver lib not exist in 'lib' directory.
