3199824 - Missing Measure on Filters with the New Models in Story level.

Missing functionality implementing a Measure based control (at the page/story level) on SAP Analytics Cloud, New Model type.

Classic Model type - When adding a page filter/input control, show the filters based on Dimensions or Measure:

note: as you can see from the input control it states select a Dimension or Measure.

New Model type - (Measure based) -  When adding a page filter/input control, show the filter by Dimensions:

note: The input control it states select a Dimension, but measure isn't an option.

SAP Analytics Cloud : 2022.2.12

1. Open tenant URL.
   
   
2. On the menu, click on "Modeler".
   
   
3. Click on Model and "New Model".
   
   
4. Add Measures and an Account Dimension.
   
   
5. Create a Story based on this model.
   
   
6. Filter the entire new Story, perhaps that there is no option for the Measures.

Measure based filter is not supported on the New Models that have both Measure and Account Dimension.

This is by design, the solution is to store the Account data into a Generic Dimension, read more about the New Model functionality on the link:
