3200318 - Time Out Error in the App Replicate by Replication Model While Replicating Business Partners From SAP S/4HANA Cloud to Client

The bulk replication using the Replicate by Replication Model without any filter criteria is not working in the system. The replication process shows in-progress and session timed out without creating any Replication Monitor logs. 

SAP S/4HANA Cloud

1. Go to the app Replicate by Replication Model
2. Select the Replication Model : BUS_PART 986_3
3. Replication Mode: Initialization
4. Click on the button Replicate
5. System processes the replication request for a long time and throws an error:

Most likely causes:

• You are not connected to the Internet.
• The server is not responding.
• The server was temporary not available.

 

What you can try:

• Reconnect to the server.
• Retype the address.
• Try visiting another website to make sure you are connected.
• Restart the application.

 

This problem can be caused by a variety of issues, including:

• Internet connectivity has been lost.
• The website is temporarily unavailable.
• The Domain Name Server (DNS) is not reachable.
• The Domain Name Server (DNS) does not have a listing for the website’s domain.
• If this is an HTTPS (Secure) address, click tools, click tools, click Internet Options, click Advanced, and check the protocols setting under the security section.

In the Communication Arrangement app, for the Scenario ID: SAP_COM_0008 , for the Outbound Service - Business Partner - Replicate from SAP S/4HANA Cloud to Client, you defined the incorrect Replication Mode and Output Mode.

For the Scenario ID: SAP_COM_0008, if the Replication Mode is initial load, it is recommended to use Pooled Output as the Output Mode. Direct Output Mode is not recommended. After the initial load is done, the Replication Mode should be changed to Change Replication.

The initial load triggered by the Communication Arrangement could only be used in case of a low number of Business Partners as here the parallel processing option is not available. In case of a high number of Business Partners the initial load must be done via the App Replicate by Replication Model with the option Parallel Processing, where you should specify the Server Group and the Number of Processes for the replication.
