3200336 - Connection test from ABAP to CPI SOAP type endpoint

Symptom

An HTTP 500 error is encountered when trying to ping a type G/H destination to CPI from ABAP in transaction SM59.

The error is encountered in CPI:

  •  Fault:Unexpected EOF in prolog at [row,col {unknown-source}]: [1,0]", caused by "WstxEOFException:Unexpected EOF in prolog at [row,col {unknown-source}]: [1,0]"

    -SM59 connection details in ABAP side are like:

    Target Host     <tenantID>-iflmap.hcicnsbp.cn1.platform.sapcloud.cn
    Path Prefix     /cxf/<application> , example like: /cxf/CRM/
