3200438 - No prices could be determined for service confirmations

You get the following error message when trying to confirm a service confirmation:

No prices could be determined for object Activity type <controlling area/cost center/activity type>. 

Diagnosis

No price could be found for object Activity type <controlling area/cost center/activity type> with price indicator and value type.

Procedure

Maintain the price manually or have it determined by the system through the price calculation function.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud

Cost rates are missing.

1. In the Manage Cost Rates - Services app, check whether a cost rate for the given combination <controlling area/cost center/activity type> has been maintained.

2. After maintaining the cost rates, in the Manage Cost Rates - Services app, it might be necessary to re-trigger the cost determination (edit and save the affected item).
