3200448 - Dump database model fails with Error: [0] The 'write' call failed for database/archive device while working on stripe device - SAP ASE

Symptom

While dumping a database received the following error:

dump database model to "/location/PATH.dmp"
go
Backup Server: 4.172.1.4: The value of 'allocated pages threshold' has been set to 40%.
Backup Server session id is: 34. Use this value when executing the 'sp_volchanged' system stored procedure after fulfilling any volume change request from the Backup Server.
Backup Server: 4.41.1.1: Creating new disk file /location/model.dmp.
Backup Server: 4.128.2.1: Failed to start multibuffering subprocesses for archive device '/location/model.dmp'. Look at the Backup Server error log or standard error for more information.
Backup Server: 4.141.2.66: [0] The 'write' call failed for database/archive device while working on stripe device '/location/model.dmp' with error number 32 (Broken pipe). Refer to your operating system documentation for further details.
Backup Server Internal Error: 4.62.3.8: Multibuffering subprocesses died, archive /location/model.dmp.
Msg 8009, Level 16, State 1:
Server 'mydb1', Line 1:
Error encountered by Backup Server.  Please refer to Backup Server messages for details.
