3200668 - Line item text does not appear for P&L postings

In App Display Line Items in General Ledger the journal entry text only appears for balance sheet postings but not for P&L account.

 SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

1. Go to App Display Line Items in General Ledger
2. Add parameters
3. Click Go
4. Journal Entry Item Text is blank for some line items

The line item text relates specifically to the Subledger-Specific Line Item Type.

In app Display line Items In General Ledger add field SLA Line Item Type.

The postings done as part of the foreign currency valuation have SLA Line Item Types, whereas the supplier invoice posting does not.

SAP provides all line item types. They are fixed in the system and cannot be changed by the user.
