3200754 - ESI - Web Service or WSDL URL is inaccessible with HTTP 302 Moved Temporarily response

Symptom

  • When trying to connect to a web service provider or WSDL URL hosted by an SAP system, it returns with the following response:
    HTTP/1.0 302 Moved temporarily
    This response comes from an endpoint URL that contains the following URL part:
    /SSO.saml2?SAMLRequest

  • A WSDL file of a Service Provider published by an SAP system is inaccessible via browser, the endpoint URL redirects to one containing the following part:
    /SSO.saml2?SAMLRequest
