3200803 - Employee Central Timesheet error: You can only add employee self-service data

When submitting a timesheet, the employee receives the following error

"You can only add employee self-service data"

SAP successfactors HXM Core

1. Go to employee timesheet
2. Enter times and submit
3. Error is received

The old timesheet ui is only covering LocalTimes up to precision of MINUTES whereas ExternalTimeData can also include SECONDS. 
When having non-ess-enabled ExternalTimeData that ends up in status error on import it can happen that that the UI shows an error due to a lack of precision.

We will be releasing a patch to resolve this error on 20/05/22
In the meantime, you can use this workaround:

• Set seconds of entered times to zero
• In case the time type is empty in ExternalTimeData explicitly set the TimeType
