3201430 - SNOTE Error: File <Note number> is inconsistent; check the application log

Symptom

While downloading/uploading a note using SNOTE, following error occurs, for example:

"File 0002611503 is inconsistent; check the application log"

  • In SLG1 you can see the message:
    'BTCOPTION SAPXPG with parameter UNICODE was not found
    File <note number> is inconsistent; check the application log'
  • In SM49/SM69 executing SAPCAR -V gives error 
    'Unknown error 902'
