3201471 - SRS version not upgraded after applying the RS_UPDATE task from Rolling Update

Symptom

  • Applying steps from SAP Note 2800495 for a rolling update, ASE is upgraded to the new version, but not the SRS, the same version is maintained.
  • No errors reported in dev_sapdbctrl, the log informs about update process ending successfully.
  • We can see the saphostctrl arguments with UPDATE_RS task in dev_sapdbctrl like this:
