'There's a problem with the SSL certificate file that's preventing it from uploading successfully.
The file could be corrupted, in the wrong format, or a different file altogether'

SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Marketing

Reproducing the Issue

  1. From Admin Center navigate to Manage Career Site Builder;
  2. Open Tools > SSL Certificates;
  3. Try to upload the SSL certificate and intermediate files;
  4. You will receive an error informing you that there's a problem with your SSL certificate.

There could be a discrepancy between the end line characters in the files.
One of the files contains both CR = Carriage Return and LF = Line Feed while the other only has LF

The superfluous end line characters must be removed so the files match.

  1. In Notepad ++ for example, under the Search tab, select Replace
  2. In Find what enter the values  \r\n
  3. In Replace with enter the value \n
  4. Then click on Replace All
  5. Save file and reupload
