3202907 - Bank Holidays in China (General) Holiday Calendar are not correct

The SAP Holiday Calendar CN - China (General) does not show all Chinese bank holidays. There are further bank holidays which are not included in the calendar.

The plan of legal holidays and corresponding (weekend) adjustment days for each year are suggestions from government, not mandatory legal regulation.  Companies can set up their own holiday schedule based on their specific requirement, as long as the total days of legal holiday meet the Labor Law requirement.

Article 40 of the Labor Law of China and the Measures for the Holidays of National Annual Festivals and Anniversaries stipulate the Legal Holiday as below:

All citizens have holidays:
（1） New year, 1 day off (January 1);
（2） Spring Festival, 3 days off (the first, second and third days of the first lunar month);
（3） Tomb Sweeping Day, 1 day off (Tomb Sweeping Day of the Lunar Calendar);
（4） Labor day, 1 day off (May 1);
（5） Dragon Boat Festival, 1 day off (on the day of the Dragon Boat Festival in the lunar calendar);
（6） Mid Autumn Festival, 1 day off (the mid-autumn day of the Lunar Calendar);
（7） National Day, 3 days off (October 1, 2 and 3).
