The confirmation of production order cannot be cancelled due to error message :
Message no. CO_MES_INT005.

Go to app Cancel Production Order Confirmation(CO13) to cancel confirmation.

If the production order has integration with MES and it has status DISB (Distributed to MES) , the expectation is that responsibility for the order has passed on to the MES system.
If the confirmation was performed on MES through ODATA API, the confirmation needs to be cancelled in MES system, which would then trigger the ODATA API for Production Order Confirmations and send the cancellation back to S/4HANA Cloud.

Cancel the confirmation on MES side rather than S/4HANA Cloud .
If there is still requirement to cancel the confirmation from S/4HANA Cloud, scope item 2JN or 55E can be activated to change the error message to Warning.
