3204193 - Missing Fixed Assets in the Fixed Assets - Line Items Report

The Fixed Assets - Line Items report displays all the fixed asset transactions with posting date, source document type, journal entry ID, debit or credit posting, and amount, for each fixed asset and fixed asset class.

After successfully capitalized fixed assets in the system. However,  the assets are missing when execute the Fixed Assets - Line Items report.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to Fixed Assets work center.
2. Click on Fixed Assets view.
3. See the asset is capitalized. 
4. Open the Asset and go to Values tab - Journal.
5. Here the Journal entries do exist.

Now, 

1. Go to Reports view. 
2. Execute the Fixed Assets - Line Items report.
3. Search for the Fixed Asset ID. 
4. Cannot find the asset in this report. 

The Fixed Assets - Line Items report shows fixed assets based on the validity of the Org Assignment based on the validity of the org assignment.

The assets will not display if the org assignment start date is in the future or if the org assignment is no longer valid.

Can see org assignment validity under master data.

1. Go to Fixed Assets work center.
2. Click on Fixed Assets view.
3. Open the Fixed Asset.
4. Go to Master Data tab.
5. Under Basic Data can find All Assignments Intervals.
6. If the Start Date is in the future, or the Valid To is in the past, then cannot see the asset in the Fixed Assets - Line Items - report.

Retrieve data for these types of assets from Schedule of Fixed Assets report, Fixed Assets - Trial Balance report and Depreciation report which don't have this reliance on the org assignment validity.
