3204239 - Policy for read-only access to Monitoring application - SAP Data Intelligence

Symptom

  • Administrators that want to provide access to the Monitoring application for their operation / developer users currently need to grant "sap.dh.systemMgtWrite" policy.
  • Only when the user gets the policy "sap.dh.systemMgtWrite" assigned, the user will be able to see data in the Monitoring application.
  • Assigning this policy has a severe impact as it allows the user to have full control over the System Management application including the possibility to perform any kind of changes in the System Management application.
  • As a DI administrator I want to provide users access to the Monitoring application without granting full write access to the System Management application so that we can follow our internal security policies and reduce the risk of granting sensitive privileges to operation users.
