People Profile page does not open directly upon clicking people search result, Quick Card opens instead.
Environment
SAP SuccessFactors HXM Suite
Reproducing the Issue
- Login to the instance
- Search for user in the people search
- Click on the user's name and employee profile will not open
Cause
This 'onclick' behavior for people search results is controlled via the following setting:
- Admin Center > Company System and Logo Settings > Selecting a user from global header search will show the quick card
Having this option enabled will result in Quick card being opened when a people search result is clicked upon.
Resolution
In order to have Profile page open up directly upon clicking people search result, please uncheck the option:
- Admin Center > Company System and Logo Settings > Selecting a user from global header search will show the quick card
