3204927 - Incorrect Data in Reports Based on Data Source BUPAEMPB / Employee Master Data without Human Resources

You create a report based on data source BUPAEMPB (Employee Master Data without Human Resources). You then compare the report result with the data in the UI, for example for employee ABC (where ABS represents the relevant employee).

You find out that the report result does not match the data for this employee in the Employees view in Personnel Administration work center.

 SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to Business Analytics work center
2. Go to Design Data Sources view
3. Select BUPAEMPB 
4. Choose New > Reports
5. Complete the report according to your needs
6. Check the results, e.g. for employee ABC 
7. Now go to Personnel Administration work center
8. Go to Employees view
9. Select employee ABC
10. Check the data
11. The data does not match the data shown in report BUPAEMPB

The system behavior may be caused by the fact that Personnel Administration is scoped in your system.

You should only use BUPAEMPB when Personnel Administration is not scoped.
