Symptom
By the second half of 2022, SMS services in recruiting will have a new provider, Sinch. Due to this new provider, some configuration changes will be required. This article explains if any necessary step is required during this migration and additional resources to engage with Sinch support team if required.
Environment
SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Management (RCM) - All versions
Resolution
SAP is moving to a different SMS service provider. The tentative date for this migration to occur is the end of September/the beginning of October 2022. Once this migration takes place, the ULR configure to use SMS services will be updated to reflect the new provider.
No action will be required from customers, all the migration activities will be performed by SAP and Sinch teams. There will be no unavailability time to complete this process.
After the migration, if you are using the SMS service, you will see a new URL configured under Manage Recruiting Settings.
