3205673 - Job Info business rules triggered when saving changes to Employment Info for terminated user


When saving changes to Employment Information for terminated user, Job Information business rules are also triggered, even if no Job Information fields got updated.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to the profile of a Terminated user;
  2. Edit Employment Information;
  3. Update an information;
  4. Hit "Save";
  5. Download Rule Trace;
  6. See Job Information rules were executed even though no change to Job Information was performed.

This only happens when the "Enable Centralized Services for Employment Information to save changes on Editing UI" switch is enabled in Company System And Logo Settings.


  • This issue is corrected in Patch b2205p7 that was released June 3, 2022 to Production instances
  • The fix will also be included in the 2H 2022 Release (b2211)
