Based on import connection.
The calculation for YTD is not working properly when the current date is selected and the transactional data for the current date is null (in the current month there were no values), but in the previous months have values. To make it more clear, a screenshot from the data source is displayed bellow the KPI's.
The first KPI "sales YTD for Actual (Column B)" shows exactly the issue. In this KPI Instead of the dash, is expected to see the 250 value as it is presented in the second KPI which refers to Column C from the data source. The difference between column "B" and "C" is that in the 202204 have null values for col "B" and "0" in column "C". Only KPI related to column "C" shows the correct number.

SAP Analytics Cloud (2022.8.7)
Reproducing the Issue
- Open the Tenant URL.
- Go to the Story that contains a Calculation YTD and null values on the same data source. (Values + Null Values)
- Charts or Tables that contain this Calculation show no data (-).
Cause
This issue is currently under investigation by Development.
Resolution
This issue is currently under investigation by Development.
Workaround: Populate the null data with "0".
