Symptom

  • Test connection of IBP datastore via WebRFC is successful.
  • Import Objects in IBP datastore fails with error or becomes blank.
  • Error message:
    Cannot open connection - openConnection remote error: Cannot connect to SAP Applications datastore <> using host <IBP URL>, client <XXX>, user <XXX>, and system number <01: CRFC error: RFC_COMMUNICATION_FAILURE- Unable to connect to <IBP URL>:443[SAP Partner]>. Please make sure the SAP server is running and the login information is correct.
  • The above error message also could be found in MetadataBrowsingService_xxxxxxxx_xxxxxxxx_Error.txt.
